In-Person Training
In-Person Training consists of public classes conducted by one of our subject matter experts at one of our designated locations in one or more consecutive days.
Target Audience
Anyone seeking to understand the requirements of the ISO 14001 family of standards: EHS managers, supervisors, and anyone else involved in environmental quality management.
Prerequisites
All attendees are required to have their own copy of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems – Requirements.
Course Objectives
- Explain the basics of an environmental management system in the context of ISO 14001:2026.
- Explain the impact of human activities on the environment and how they are applied to environmental auditing.
- Identify and analyze the requirements of the ISO 14001:2026 standard and apply them to scenarios.
- Apply the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.
Agenda
This is a two-day, instructor‑led foundations course. The course will cover ISO 14001:2026 as a standard, with a corresponding competency exam (EM) on Day 2.
- Days 1–2: ISO 14001:2026 content and the corresponding competency exam (EM)
Training Time: 16 hours
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs): 1.6
