Target Audience for Gage Calibration Training
This Gage Calibration training course is designed for a diverse group of professionals. It’s ideal for anyone with an interest in metrology and gage calibration training. Additionally, it’s suitable for those who document measurement and calibration requirements in quality systems. Furthermore, quality engineers, quality and calibration managers, calibration technicians, and assistants looking to learn a systematic approach should strongly consider attending.
Gage Calibration Training Objectives
Our Gage Calibration training course is a comprehensive, hands-on workshop. It offers specialized training in calibration and minor repair for individuals with some knowledge of basic metrology. Throughout the course, participants will engage in hands-on gage calibration and minor repairs of various tools, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and bore gages. Moreover, the course covers essential topics such as NIST Traceability, Certificates of Conformance, gage management, and standards. Additionally, students will learn about the basic requirements of ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540-1, as well as specific rules and processes. To enhance the learning experience, each student is encouraged to participate in actual calibrations using their own equipment.
