In-Person Training
In-Person Training consists of public classes conducted by one of our subject matter experts at one of our designated locations in one or more consecutive days.
Target Audience
Quality personnel who are preparing for the ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) exam or want to further their professional development along with Quality Auditors, Engineers, and Managers who are interested in a refresher course.
Course Objectives
This review course is designed to assist in preparing each student for the CQI exam. These examinations are offered through the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Completion of these review programs through QC Training Services, Inc. will not guarantee that you will pass the exam but will offer a broad review on the Body of Knowledge, and greatly increase your probability of success in obtaining your certification. Exam applications are obtained through ASQ and must be completed and approved on or before the ASQ application deadlines. The application is not available through QC Training Services, Inc. and the associated costs of the application process are not included in this program. Please refer to the complete course description for additional details and a breakdown of typical course content.

Materials
Since this is a review course, students are expected to obtain their own materials and study as much as possible prior to the review date. We will be referencing the Quality Council of Indiana CQI Primer, Solutions Text and Exam USB as we teach this review course. If you would like to purchase materials consistent with the material being presented in the review course, they are available through Quality Council of Indiana.
The student is encouraged to bring a calculator with trig functions to class. The instructor will use the TI30Xa, so that would be preferred. Keep in mind that ASQ exam administrators will not allow smart phones during the exam.

Our Virtual Live Training classes are conducted through an online platform by one of our subject matter experts in one or more sessions.

Certified Quality Inspector Overview
Target Audience
Quality personnel who are preparing for the ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) exam or those who want to further their professional development. Quality Auditors, Engineers, and Managers who are interested in a refresher course would benefit from this course.
Course Objectives
To review the required CQI Body of Knowledge (BOK) topics in the following areas:

IV. Blueprint Reading
V. Sampling
VI. Inspection and Testing
VII. Statistical Applications
VIII. Quality Improvement
An online audio/visual presentation is provided which covers the overview of the CQI course and each section listed above. Free email support is provided by your instructor.
Materials
The student will receive a username and password to access the online course that contains all the lectures, special links to additional references, study materials and full email support from the author/instructor. The student MUST purchase the Quality Council of Indiana (QCI) CQI Primer to use in conjunction with the online course. Student will supply the calculator. A TI30Xa calculator is recommended to match training materials.
This is a completely self-paced class. Student progress will be monitored randomly by the course administrator to assess student progress and provide support. An estimated time to view slides, listen to lectures, read prescribed materials in the QCI primer, and complete QCI primer blue sheet questions is 30 hours. An additional 30 hours of individual study is recommended to become prepared to take the CQI exam. Total time will be dependent on the student’s background in the topics and familiarity with the BOK. It is also recommended that the student purchase and spend time with the QCI electronic practice exams for maximum benefit.

This class license is sold on a single user basis. Within two business days from registration, each registrant will be emailed a unique username and password to access the course material through our secure online training portal. Successful completion of the course will result in a certificate for course contact hours.
