In-Person Training consists of public classes conducted by one of our subject matter experts at one of our designated locations in one or more consecutive days.
Target Audience
Quality personnel preparing for the ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) exam and or want to further their professional development; any Quality Auditors, Engineers, and Managers interested in a refresher course.
Course Objectives
This review course is designed to prepare each student for the CQT exam. The examination is offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Completion of this review program through QC Training Services, Inc. will not guarantee that you will pass the exam but will offer a broad review on the Body of Knowledge and greatly increase your probability of success in obtaining your certification.
The CQT Exam application is not available through QC Training Services, Inc., and the associated costs of the application process are not included in this program. Exam applications are obtained through ASQ and must be completed and approved on or before the ASQ application deadlines.

Materials
Since this is a review course, students are expected to obtain their own study materials and review them prior to the course. We recommend that students use the current ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) Handbook and other ASQ-recommended resources when preparing for the examination.
Students who already own legacy Quality Council of Indiana (QCI) materials, such as the CQT Primer, Solutions Text, or practice exams, may continue to find those resources useful as supplemental study aids. However, because the ASQ Body of Knowledge and examination content may change over time, students should ensure they are familiar with the current ASQ requirements and references.
The student is encouraged to bring a calculator with trigonometric functions to class. The instructor will use the TI-30Xa, so that would be preferred. Please note that ASQ exam administrators do not permit the use of smartphones during the examination.
