In-Person Training consists of public classes conducted by one of our subject matter experts at one of our designated locations in one or more consecutive days.
Target Audience
Quality personnel who are preparing for the ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) exam or want to further develop their professional development.
Course Objectives
This review course is designed to assist in preparing each student for the CCT exam. These examinations are offered through the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Completion of these review programs through QC Training Services, Inc. will not guarantee that you will pass the exam but will offer a broad review on all of the above categories, and greatly increase your probability of success in obtaining your certification. Exam applications are obtained through ASQ and must be completed and approved on or before the ASQ application deadlines. The application is not available through QC Training Services, Inc. and the associated costs of the application process are not included in this program.

Materials
Since this is a review course, students are expected to obtain their own materials and study as much as possible prior to the review date. We will be referencing the Quality Council of Indiana CCT Primer, Solutions Text and Exam USB as we teach this review course. If you would like to purchase materials consistent with the material being presented in the review course, they are available through Quality Council of Indiana. In order to have the highest likelihood of success on your exam, we encourage the students to obtain their study materials as soon as possible in order to have plenty of time to study prior to the class date.
The student is encouraged to bring a calculator with trig functions to class. The instructor will use the TI30Xa, so that would be preferred. Keep in mind that ASQ exam administrators will not allow smart phones during the exam.

Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) Overview
Course Summary
Students prepare to take the ASQ’s Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) exam. This course follows the ASQ body of knowledge with audio/visual presentations of the various topics to prepare the student for the CCT exam. The textbook, “Certified Calibration Technician Preparation”, and workbook, “CCT Workbook and Practice Exams”, are included in the purchase price and will be sent to the student after purchase of the course. Materials are current with the latest ASQ body of knowledge.
Exam applications are obtained through ASQ and must be completed and approved on or before the ASQ application deadlines.
Course Objectives
- Four plus hours of lecture.
- Paper copies of the text and workbook will be sent to the address provided in the registration.
- Modules are integrated with the textbook and workbook.
- One module for each of the five body of knowledge sections.
- Separate practice exams for each section with immediate feedback on your grade. Exams can be taken as many times as desired for practice. No two exams are alike.
- Final practice exam can be taken online with random order of questions and responses for better practice. Simulates the 125-question, 4-hour exam by mixing sections.
- Links to important information and terms on the internet, plus suggested references for actual certification exam.
- Work at your own pace online, anytime, anywhere.
Materials
The student will receive a username and password to access the online course that contains all the power point lectures, practice exams for each section with randomized responses, and special links to additional reference and study materials. Student must have a hard copy to have as a reference for the open book ASQ examination. Student will supply the calculator. A TI30Xa calculator is recommended to match training materials.
This course is completely self-paced per the student’s schedule. An estimated time to view slides, listen to lectures, read prescribed materials in the manual, complete workbook problems, and take practice exams (no limit to the number of times – with each exam having randomized responses) is 30 hours. An additional 30 hours study of the course materials is recommended to become prepared for the CCT exam. Total time will be dependent on the student’s background in calibration and familiarity with the CCT Body of Knowledge.

This class license is sold on a single user basis.
