Module 2: Supplier Strategy & Lifecycle
Align supplier strategy with organizational goals; supplier selection, categorization, and partnership development; Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and contract management essentials.
Module 3: Risk Management
Risk identification and assessment (FMEA, FTA, DA); contingency planning and supplier resilience strategies.
Module 4: Supplier Qualification
Capability and capacity assessments; PPAP, APQP, and process qualification essentials.
Module 5: Supplier Performance & Improvement
KPI and scorecard systems; CAPA management and root cause analysis; continuous improvement integration.
Module 6: Supplier Quality & Auditing
Product, process, and system audit methods; virtual vs. on-site audits and follow-up actions; supplier development and remediation practices.
Module 7: Relationship Management
Communication strategies and DEI considerations; negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaborative leadership.
Module 8: Ethics, Governance, & Compliance
ASQ Code of Ethics, confidentiality, and legal compliance; sustainability and social responsibility principles.
Module 9: Quality Tools Workshop
SPC, MSA, and sampling; DMAIC, 8D, and Kaizen problem-solving; QFD and control plan development.
Module 10: Exam Preparation
Practice exams, time management, and key concept review.
* Certified Supplier Quality Professional exam applications are obtained through ASQ and must be completed and approved by the date set by ASQ. The application is not available through QC Training Services, Inc. and the associated costs of the application process are not included in this program.
Materials
This Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP) course is designed as a review for individuals who meet the prerequisites and are preparing to take the ASQ CSQP exam. All students are required to purchase their own copies of the following materials prior to the start of the review course:
- Quality Council of Indiana CSQP Primer
- Quality Council of Indiana Solutions Text
- Quality Council of Indiana Exam USB
These resources are essential for participation and will be referenced throughout the course. Students must obtain these materials directly from Quality Council of Indiana and are expected to study them in advance to maximize the effectiveness of the review sessions and their readiness for the CSQP exam.
