In-Person Training consists of public classes conducted by one of our subject matter experts at one of our designated locations in one or more consecutive days.
Target Audience
Quality personnel who are preparing for the ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) exam or want to further their professional development along with Quality Auditors, Engineers, and Managers who are interested in a refresher course.
Course Objectives
Agenda
- Technical Mathematics
- Metrology
- Inspection & Testing
- Quality Assurance
Materials
Since this is a review course, students are expected to obtain their own study materials and review them prior to the course. We recommend that students use the current ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) Handbook and other ASQ-recommended resources when preparing for the examination.
Students who already own legacy Quality Council of Indiana (QCI) materials, such as the CQI Primer, Solutions Text, or practice exams, may continue to find those resources useful as supplemental study aids. However, because the ASQ Body of Knowledge and examination content may change over time, students should ensure they are familiar with the current ASQ requirements and references.
The student is encouraged to bring a calculator with trigonometric functions to class. The instructor will use the TI-30Xa, so that would be preferred. Please note that ASQ exam administrators do not permit the use of smartphones during the examination.
Training Time: 24 hours
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs): 2.4
