Course Summary

This course is designed to enable you to develop a solid understanding of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and be able to plan and lead an ISO 17025 audit. An ACLASS, Accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.

Target Audience

This course is for laboratory managers, laboratory technicians and laboratory technical staff, prospective assessors and consultants, and auditors of all types who want or need to learn better audit practices and want an appreciation for the technical demands of ISO/IEC 17025.

Course Objectives

This course is accredited by the American National Standard Institute-ASQ National Accreditation Board. This course will prepare you to meet technical demands of the standard while providing practical exercises to aid comprehension. Included in the daily work are five audits to practice concepts, apply terminology and definitions, and utilization of checklists.  Each day you will be given an evening assignment.  This course will conclude with a comprehensive exam on the final day that will demonstrate the attendee’s understanding and application of the standard and practices. ISO Management Representatives will gain the credibility and prestige to effectively interact with certification bodies, customers, and suppliers. Typically schedule: days 1-2 are 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., days 2-4 are 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., day 5 is 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 am (Review and Exam).
